Walter Addison Mid-Century Pottery Trivet: Squares in Squares vintage purse now useful for all sortsI haven't found much on the Walter Addison who made this trivet, except for an auction record for a beautiful ceramic lamp from a Rhode Island estate sold at auction that noted his dates as 1914 1982. I found this and one other, listed separately, together in Connecticut, attributed to him by the seller (the backs are signed simple Addison) and just thought they were lovely. Definitely mid century, with satisfying matte glaze. I love this one for
