Ferry Cross the Mersey filming Size:XL: 80 x 80cm shows the Duke of WellingtonActress Julie Samuel who has been chosen to appear with the Liverpudlian pop group Gerry and the Pacemakers in the United Artists film "Ferry cross The Mersey" pictured here with the band's lead singer Gerry Marsden during filming on the lawns of the Edgwarebury Country Club at Elstree. She plays Gerry's girlfriend Doddie Dawson in the film, daughter of a rich shipping magnate, who bullies him into entering a big "Beat Competition". 12th June 1964.
