Farrell was an American actor who is perhaps best known for his on screen romance wih Janet Gaynor, with whom he appeared in more than a dozen films including Seventh Heaven (1927), Street Angel (1928) and Lucky Star (1929). Nissen was a Norwegian born American film and stage actress.
