Some authorities include Amsonia glaberrima in Amsonia tabernaemontana, which makes it obvious that they've never actually grown both plants. Amsonia 'Hardin's Gem' forms a very compact 30" tall x 4' wide dense mass of smooth, narrow green leaves, and topped with flower spikes that
