Since he released his album ilp in 2013 Kwes has been keeping extremely busy behind the scenes, producing for, collaborating with and being sampled by the likes of Solange, NAO, Hudson Mohawke and Pusha T. In addition to providing production work for Kelelas Take Me Apart he also mixed the entire album. Songs for Midi sees him stepping out on his once more with a concise
